Title: Tension
Run Time: 1:42
Recommended: Either format
Planned Use: Theme of Suspense
Composer's Comments:
Another one of my earlier pieces, it easily fits the title with a slow, steady piano hit that makes you stay on your toes. It was recently edited to include quieter interludes featuring the Goblins sound effect (which sounds really cool in the mp3 version) and an organ.
Fun fact: This was originally going to be entirely in 5/4 time, but it ended up sounding exactly like 4/4. The interludes are still in 5/4, though. |

Title: Sandzone Theme B
Run Time: 1:00
Recommended: Either format
Planned Use: Theme of the Mica Desert and Schist Trail
Composer's Comments:
It's not as long as the other overworld themes, and it doesn't loop all too well. If I had my way, it'd just play through once until the map reloaded.
It's used in two shorter chapters, where one group passes through a cactus-filled valley and another is ambushed by hostile natives. |

Quick update: One day near the demo release, I'll be updating all of these songs with the correct Album and Artist information.
In addition, many songs will actually have song titles instead of their file names. I'm working on that. |

Title: The Grey Mercenary
Run Time: 2:06 (loopable)
Recommended: mp3 format
Planned Use: Character Theme
Composer's Comments: A moody piece that starts off somewhat dire, later quickening. An odd harmony is present throughout the piece that makes it consistently unsettling.
A particular character being described in this piece will betray you about halfway through the game, showing his true colors and becoming an antagonist. He hides a well of hatred for someone and will soon go to great lengths to see that person suffer. |
