Them's Fightin'

To begin this review let me say I have no idea who the hell this guy/gurl is or pretty much anything else about him/her except the fact that either he/she is really lazy when making games, he's very untalented when making games, or he/she is new to the OHR and/or making games.

Graphics |
These graphics are godawful to your eyes, and put about 1,000 ringing questions in your mind about what the author thought while making them. The old time detective black and white style coloring is alright, but some small parts of the landscape are brown and caused some confusion. The Walkabouts incredibly suck, everybody looks like small stick figures drawn up by a 4 year old. The battle animations are passible, but the actual battle graphics are to boxy and generic. The opening intro backdrops are lazily and poorly drawn, but the TV backdrops are fairly passible, also.

Storyline |
The Storyline is probably the best part of the game. The game takes place in the future and you play as a bored detective out of a job because crime has been abolished in the "Big City". But then crime starts up again and Mr. Ironhart is put back into a job.

Gameplay |
The basis of this game is pretty much, talk to someone and make meaningless textbox choices that pretty much do nothing for the plot. There are a few incredibly simple "puzzles" that are so easy, that you probably wont even notice there puzzles until you finish them. They did change almost all the Global Text Strings though....

Battle |
Battles are pretty boring because you dont get much attacks to work with. You have your main basic attack, a few other attacks that do the same as the basic attack, and your typical heal attack. Luckily there arent that many (if at all) random battles in this game. Most battles are NPC activated.

Map Design |
Map design is basically big bare rooms with various meaningless people in each. some rooms have boxes in them, but most rooms contain a person, a couch, and a TV. In some rooms there is no way to tell where the door is to go on to the next map so prepare to search for a few doors for a while.

Balance |
There is no balance here, All attacks do pretty much the same amount of damage and the Heal Packs barely heal you at all (+2 HP) the heal attack does the same.

What Music?

Enjoyment |
The funny parts, werent funny. The Dramatic Parts, werent dramatic. And the suspenseful parts, had pretty much no suspense. Battles were weak and the repetitive Choice enabled text boxs were boring and annoying. You be the judge.

Final Blows |
Dont bother with this game, the graphics wont impress, the battles wont impress, and pretty much nothing else will impress.
