Chaos Nyte
Review # 38 for Chaos Nyte
Them's Fightin' Words
What the hell did I ever do to deserve to play one shitty game after another? Have mercy on my soul, lord...

Storyline: Bj, (Who I can't tell if s/he is a man or a woman. S/he looks like a man, but has is send out by it's mother to go save the town from an evil peanut. Then you talk to a bunch of banal townspeople and buy some armor, which leaves you ready to teleport to the island of the peanuts. After wandering around, meeting peanuts and even dealing with one who sells off his own peanut friends, you tangle with the evil peanut. This guy is so evil he hits himself for a few thousand damage every couple of rounds. God, I hate this game. After you defeat him, your treated to a smiley face and the author telling you it took him four whole days to make this game. And that he thinks it's funny. Screw you newbie.

Graphics: Some shading, ugly characters, and quickly done everything. A newbie game, through and through. Perverted use of moving tiles, with window shutters flapping in perfect unison and flat smoke pouring out of every chimmey.

Gameplay: Your character starts out maxed out stat wise, and the boss murders himself. What, is this game meant for the retarded?! Poor use of maps, with indoor areas in sight of one another. I like how everything is in the shape of rectangle. It makes it easy to hate this game even more.

Music: I actually had to check the game again to see if it has music, that's how forgetable this stuff is. Ripped from the engine, poorly placed.

Look Timmy, I know you meant well, and I'm sure your proud of your first game, but I'm also sure you knew that four days of work wasn't going to put out a steller game. On the plus side, the game does end, so it's one of the few finished games on OHR. Of course, the fact that it's only five minutes long detracts from that. I don't know what you were thinking Timmy, but try again.
