The new thing between last review and this one was that my browser was misbehaving, causing the A+ score I had intended to be dropped way down to F-. But it's been fixed. Yae.

The posters in Shadow's room, and his alto clarinet (at least I think it's alto, sopranos don't have a flared bell, I've never seen a tenor clarinet, and both bass and contra bass have bends) are the new graphic additions.

A little weaker off of the third week's high, but not quite as mundane as week two. Minnek attempts to get other people to watch anime with him but asks all the wrong people. The person he should have asked would probably have been Rinku (you know, since Rinku is Japanese for Link...), but I guess it's just as well he didn't. CN's attempt to appologize to Lucier flops the first time, so he decides to get her... ... a microwave dinner? What the flock? I may not be a nymphomaniac, but I am at least the same gender. I'd be insulted to get a tv dinner as an appology. That had better be one seriously good dinner that she can't eat (no microwave to heat it up).
Of course, possibly the eleven beers did a better job of cheering her up. And the funny thing is, I was literally sitting right behind the guy who suggested it when he suggested it. If you weren't in the chatroom that night, but you're observant, that'll tell you who suggested the beer.
The joke that Poodles (and Lucier) attempt to play on Shadow falls really flat, possibly because Rinku interrupted. And speaking of Rinku, his attempts to preserve Shadow's life gets on Shadow's nerves... but his attempts to manipulate the outcome gets on everyone else's nerves.
The immunity challenge was to match each housemate up with pictures of their mothers... you'd think everyone would at least get one (their own mothers), but somehow CN can't even pick out his. Wow, that's gotta say something about him. Shadow and Minnek win with 4 matches each. Of interesting note is the pictures chosen to represent each mother. Shadow's mom is an asian woman (who coincidentally looks like my own mother when she was 16...), JSH's is... Richard Simmons? Ew. That reminds me of South Park. ("The real father of Eric Cartman is... Mrs. Cartman!" "Yes, it's true." "What?" "No! That doesn't make any sense!") Well, anyway... The others moms are easily matched because they play off the same personality jokes. Except Lucier's... her mom is hard to make out... the picture is sqashed to fit onto the backdrop.

Actually, I'm surprised it's this good, since most of the housemates that would make good conflicts have already been voted off. |
