Hey, lots of people work on games all the time, sometimes there best inspiration for it can be from just talking about it. Well talk about your game in progress here, I'm currently working on two. One, Maze Madness is a side project I do for fun, the other is Mr.Triangle's Sh**ty Adventure5, and when I make an update, you might just see everyone's favorite blonde spikey haired buster blading character, Cloud! So talk about your games here, and get inspired! Oh yeah, I need some good places to travel to for the game, the future and the stone age are already done, is there another time or place that might be appealing for people?

... people seem to like inventive periods. It surprised me when I had a look
at some screenshots of the early FF games. You'll see computers alongside
crossbows and damsels imprisioned by dragons. weird stuff, but look how
successful the series has been...

I can supply anybody with good ideas, provided they give some sort of
credit for it.

Well, I'm still working on yet another Dòr-Ithil game, no screen shot yet since I have nothing more than a few maps, two characters, a few NPCs and of course 50 or so textboxes.

Well, Maverick... there's always the times of the Roman Empire, Egyptian Empire, Greek Empire, Atztec Empire, Dark Ages, Rennasance (I'd Like to see a game that takes place in the Rennacance or the Exploration Period post it), etc.

Let's not forget the Enlightenment (1700-1850) otherwise known as the victorian era.

Got one going in the Enlightenment/Age of Exploration/Industrial periods. Set in an alterante timeline, though - space travel has been perfected. Industrial-age steel aetherships, British scientists, revolvers, 19th century architecture, and hats. Lots of hats. Everyone wore hats back then.
My other main game is set more in the near future, in a giant city known as The City, since no one knows of anywhere else. Sort of a FFVII (horrors!) type age - post-industrial high tech culture.

I will take note of that, the Egyptian era had most intrigued me particularily. So don't feel suprised if I put that in. But there are other places already avaiable, such as the past, future, and ancient arab tale, the Collosseium of Olympia, Atlantis, the old west, and the Sherlock Holmes era, thanks to a few personal special requests. Just when I think I'm out of ideas you good people get right back out there and give me something new. Thanks to you guys, I'll be able to make harder bosses and better gameplay! Thanks!

I like post-apocalypse eras.
