I'm not very good with plotscripting. For a few years I've created game on and off and never really got around to learning plotscripting, but I'm working on a game now and I'm very interested in learning. Is it possible to create a plotscript where every time you go back to a character, they give you a new job? Example: You character goes to a boss. Boss asks for 5 swords. You get your hands on 5 swords and bring them back. Boss buys swords from you. After that you click the boss again to talk and he gives you a new job. Thanks. |

You can use tags for the majority of that. The scripting should be used for the getting of "swords". Say text box 1 has the first job. After you give the swords, set (example) tag 2 on. And then set on text box 1 that when tag 2 is activated it shows a different text box. And if you just think of some stuff, you can make a lot of neat stuff with just tags. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Heck, you don't even really need plotscripting to do all that. Plotscripting can just add in little extra stuff, but all that can be done with tags and text-box linking. Plotscripting offers greater flexibility, though. _________________
