For those of you who don't know, I'm kinda working on Neo Krysta 3, and giving the graphics a complete makeover. Here's some screenshots of what I'm sorta doing:
The remade character profile screen. (I made the characters renamable, and I called Garusuke 'Setu' just because I was feeling stupid at the time...)
And I remade this tileset used in the forest and the Samurai Camp. I'm also going to remake the rest of the maptiles. (*receives hug from Aeth )
Now doesn't that look a lot better? _________________

Re-do the transition of the bridges to the grass. Add shading under the bridge supports to make it look like there's Actual solids in there. Maybe put in some rocks, too. Don't gradiate rocks. Fix the bridge tiles by getting rid of those lines. Make the layout of the wooden logs on the bridges go the same direction, also, make them larger. Add shadows under the transition of the mud and side-mud(or whatever that is). Grass formation is good. Add more detail(not to be confused with variations) to the ground. Lay twigs on the ground. Put more stones on. Add flowers. Add dead grass. Add bushes. Add.. a lot. Don't mirror/flip/rotate tiles for different directions. Also, save pixelated works in .GIF format. Profile for Setu/Garasuke is boring. Variate coloring. Head is improperly centered.
And that would be the hardest paragraph to EVER read. |

It's just a 30 minute job, tops, yo. Even for me, and I'm a slow worker. |
