No, actually all that really shows is MY EYES THEY ARE BLIND MAY I LIVE A THOUSAND YEARS AND NEVER REGAIN MY SIGHT.
You realize what kind of graphical standard you're setting here, right? Impossible. That's the most gorgeous enemy graphic I've seen in any OHR game; it also beats out a very high percentage of commercial games. Your talent is scary. _________________

Fen, you are a god among us. Your graphics are incredible. I feel so inferior. |

I'm also considering doing the ENTIRE readme/how to play tutorial in the form of a comic strip, which would be pretty cool. Of course that comes after the game's finished - which is almost done anyway. I realize of course I promised a september release; unfortunately I just couldn't pull it off that fast. Hopefully I can pull this off by Halloween, which would be a first for me (All my completed games get released on Christmas for some reason). Ah well, on with the spoilers!
Good luck finding Bob - he's hidden quite well!
That couch is hideous...
This would have been "ANIMU", but this actually has a useful effect. That, and more people here who what Kokoro means.
Yeah, I'm going to have to have a spell check for this...
:D! BWAHA!! THE CHOICES AREN'T REALLY DIFFERENT AT ALL, ARE THEY STEVE?!

I believe sums up my sentiments. _________________ Calehay |

Bloody hell those graphics are beautiful. The skull spewing purple is my favorite so far, though. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

It nears the end of days now. There's so little left to do it almost scares me. In fact, this MIGHT be totally finished by the time a certain contest rolls around. Of course, I promise nothing. Only that the conclusion I've been building to will be epic.
Also the enemy sprites keep getting bigger? What's with that? This one took way too long as it is, but fortunately, I'm now DONE with the bosses, and most normal foes, including most of the maptiles too. All that remains is one map, two battle backdrops, a few walkabouts... some minor touchups... ...a handful of story backdrops.... ...various herbs on the ground.... ....that thing I forgot to add behind the tree in scene 16... ...oh, and a whole crudload of attack animations. Oh, and a lot of the music too.
...and the playtesting... ...and the spell checking... ...but at least I don't HAVE to add plotscripting but I'll make the game so I can just click a few buttons and it'll be integrated fairly easily bwahaha.

You remember when I asked about what heroes should be in the game? Yeah, I wasn't kidding. In fact, I may decide to steal host another contest to see who can redesign their most famous OHR heroes to be twisted corruptions of bravery and goodness.
OH SNAP THIS IS TOTALLY NOT LIKE THAT ONE TIME WE JOURNEYED TO THE DARK WORLD AND FOUGHT A GIANT DEMONIC NAKED CHICK WITH SNAKES COMING OUT OF A VOID OF HATRED AND CHAOS. ALSO WERE WERE NINJAS AND THREW SHURIKEN. |

Wow okay I'm sure this isn't what you meant, but isn't that endgame screenshot straight out of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest? Maybe throw that in a blender with the FFIV last dungeon and that's what you get.
Also, I still owe you a last boss theme. I am busy and have other things to work on but it will come. _________________

Long time no post. First up is a comparison screenshot
See all the pretty red flowers and the bouncing mushrooms? They add SO much to the scenery. Also, having a dirt path helps break up the monotony of the forest. You'll also notice the grass tiling is a bit less grid-like.
This one is part of the frozen glacier's area. You'll see I added a screen-wide animating layer to totally cover everything with the snow. It's quite pretty to see in action, and just brings out this area's character so much more.
And also because some people missed it, here's the showdown with Broaste-Yggdrasil. But surely there's more... right?
The boss-rush, a series of boss battles one after the other. Recognize some familiar faces in there? I hope you do. Wonder who you fight at the top?....any guesses?
*(wow.. as if i just did that.. sorry fen, hit the edit button on major mistakes..)
{Edit-Fenrir] Arg! No touchie![/img]
