Hehe ^_^ Yeah... demon 2 is a little colourful, but I thought "If I'm going to bother colouring this thing then I should go all out... black is dreary Raspberry! "

So, Yay relatively good comments! Woot! (Dragon took only 5 hours to do... I was watching A Bugs life hehe! Just for those of you who were wondering how long it took...)

Okay as promised early this morning before I left for school I have drawn another picture... Woot!

... I'm thinking of redoing her legs O_o Boring to me so... I prolly will change that up. Man... I've been drawing alot lately... v_v I have no life...

I notice most of your human drawings (particularly females) show the character leaning backwards. While this isn't an impossible pose, it's not comfortable and it looks like they're about to fall over. This is especially true of your demons. To get a better idea of what I'm talking about, try this:

- Choose a drawing.
- Draw a line from the top of the head to the waist (on your computer, probably).
- Draw a line from the waist to the midpoint of the two feet.
- Look at the angle. In a normal person standing up straight, the line will be straight.

If a person's posture is bad, he will seem to be leaning forward. Rarely do people lean back the way you draw them; it's hard to balance like that. That's why it's tricky to limbo!

Anyway, I realize that it creates a certain aesthetic, but it's possible to maintain that aesthetic without making the character look awkward. Your swordswoman is an excellent example of this.

Other than that, your drawings are excellent. I would rather see them with your detail in pencil than see them in color.

ya, it looks like roman poses which, unlike greeks', were unbalanced (and sometimes impossible). However, this *may* or *may not* be a mistake. Some of it could be style. Not every artist wants to capture realism... I think... I mean, these are clearly anime-ish to a certain degree, so the poses don't bother me too much, but these advices holds if you're aiming for better accuracy.

Hmm I'm a little interested, since I don't plan on taking art in school and there's no way I'm paying for a class. Gimme a summary, maybe some photos of the process even to make the thread more interesting.

Okay not much in the photo area but I took some anyways to satisfy... okay lets start.
1) Find your picture you would like to make a etching of, I have to use a photo because of my Imagination-nazi of a teacher >.>, but you can also make your own design.
2) Make a drawing duplicate, this is so you can make patterns that may not be in the photo (?) For etching you must hast alot of texture.

Mine looked like that YAY!
3) Now you'll want a clear peice of plastic, like the kind over head print outs are made of (That's what I used YAY) And tape it to the picture you drew~!
4) Start the scratching, use something REALLY sharp, like a nail or a pin... anything that will scratch the plastic, when scratching your not trying to go all the way through the plastic. If you find you can't see your scratchings, and you get lost use a black peice of construction paper underneith it to make the scratches stand out~!
5) YAY! your print is done! Now start getting messy! Using your fingers and inky-paint(seriously ink... if it's paint it'll dry out, and you won't be wanting that) You dip your fingers in the ink and start smudging it into the scratches, cover the whole thing if you want to because when you take a clothe and wipe away the ink, your scratches are filled with it (YAY)

6) Now if you have no print roller O_o Your gonna need something really, really, REALLY heavy.
7) Setting up the printing area for those with out a printing roller... get newpaper and place it on the area, place your print scratching side up on the news paper then place your paper (colour is your choice but use a paper that is called Mayfair) on top, then another peice of newpaper. now get your heavy object (I'm gonna say... 150-200 pounds... just as a guess... 'cause with the printing press it actually pushed the plastic in the paper and indented it...) Now that you pressed down on it with the heavy object get your print! Yay~!

Thus far, all of the uncolored ones have been superb. Though, devil needs to be moar loli.

Were you coloring them with crayon, or colored pencil? Either way, imho, looks terrible. Trying CGing them instead.
