nerd: One with interests in computers and technology
geek: A nerd with social skills

This is how I've always defined the terms. Nerd means we're interested in computers and technology. But we have social skills (we don't say "ur all pusies") so that makes us geeks.

Dispite the fact that the word geek came from one who bites the heads off of chickens (at least according to Hey! Arnold), and "nerd" came from a Dr. Suess book, a geek is a more respectable title.

In real life, nerds are kids like Star Wars Kid and those fat children that carry Pokémon cards in their back pocket and have glasses with tape on them.

In real life, geeks are the ones who have been known to punch people and yell "TR0Wn3D!" (pronounced TROH-NUD).

In short, geeks are cool nerds.

Some nerds are geeks. All geeks are nerds.

So, in conclusion: We're not nerds!

So is there a specific definition for the word "dork?"

Also, nerds don't necessarily have to be interested in technology. I'd say a nerd is a person who is overly interested/versed in an intellectual/abstract subject. For example, there are computer nerds, anime nerds, gamer nerds, philosophy nerds, etc... We are a very diverse people (I'm every one of the aforementioned nerds ^_^).

Anyways, I'm not even working on DI right now until I get at least a decent part of my other projects done.
