Actually, I'd rather download a good OHR game then pay forty or fifty dollars for a mediocre PS2 game. Honestly, Enter the Matrix wasn't that good. I've played it. I'd give it about a 6/10.

I'm incilned to agree with Blazes and Setu. OHR games (or any free, independently made games) seem be much better than many commercial games. I would seriously buy something like a completed Wingedmene, whereas let's just say I'm glad my copy of FFX was a gift. There's just someting about laying a game made by someone who you can actually get in contact with. Withy commercial games, you are playing something made by a group of programmers and artists who are far, far away from you (unless you live in Japan, where most of the good games seem to be made), and you cannot relate to these shadowy personas in any way. With the OHR, you can converse with the creators. That makes a game much better, in my opinion.
Also, OHR games are totally unburdened by censorship, which is another big plus.

I personally LOVE the idea! In fact, I'd recently been searching for a Matrix RPG game, to no avail. You must be a godsend.
In other words, yes, do it! Razz

I'd say it would be easy to do the backdrops, but the walkabouts and
maptiles would be tricky.

I say go for it, but there are a lot of things you'll need to consider if you
want to make it a hit. Bullet time for example.

Seems like it could be done, I reccommend you give the player some
choices, like whether or not to pull the plug on morpheos (probably spellt wrong) or whether to run from Smith or stand your ground.
