Or we can just use the existing review system, and read what the game's about. Genre is too general, and there's games that can really get hosed over by this. Would Barely Legal Bitches be Porn, Comedy, or Simulation? All three? Who'd decide? I know I'd just mark my game everything. And I don't really agree with most of the admins here, why should I let THEM decide what genre my game fits? This seems like a sort of pointless idea to me, and maybe if reviews just said in their blurb "This is a great SIDESCROLLER" or "This is the DUMBEST PUZZLE game I have ever played" we wouldn't even NEED to separate by genre. Remember that the basis of Genre is Generalization.

...Of course, that wouldn't be as appreciated as sorting by game genres, but it would still be nice.
