I downloaded it, unzipped it and no "game" there. Only files that I cannot read. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. This game was recommended to me and I'd love to play it.
Thanks

First off, if you have questions, PM someone, a moderator or something, `cause this uses up forum space and will tick off a lot of people.

If GAME.exe doesn't work, then I can only assume your computer absolutely sucks! No offense to you, though. I don't know what else to tell you.

There IS no GAME>EXE and my comp is very up-to-date!
If "using up forum space" is a problem, then what is the forum for??????????????????????

Ask a question and get a jerk responding.

Can anyone else help?

you have to download Game.exe separately, at the hamster republic website:

http://www.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce

And I can't imagine anyone actually being so much of a jerk that they got mad at a simple question. That's what the forums are for (well, one of the things they are for).

Calm down. Take deeeeeeep breaths.
The address I gave you should have automatically brought up a Save window. If not, go to:

1) http://www.hamsterrepublic.com

2) Click on the OHRRPGCE link.

3) On the top, you will see the options. Click "Downloads".

4) On the download list, you will see "GAME.EXE Player Only"

5) Click on that, and there you go.

I have to go now, so I hope that you can solve the problem.

By the way, the forum IS for asking questions. Just don't start a NEW TOPIC thread for each one. That's what I was talking about.

What the hell..
Setu, why NOT start a new thread?
She didn't have a thread before, and not everyone reads replies. I think that YOU need to figure out what the forums are for.
I mean, if she made six individual topics at once, I'd understand where you're coming from, but chill out.

Well, I personally would include the Game.exe file with any of my games, but that's only my personal preference. It's either that, or rename it for the game; that's all you do, right? Rename the Game.exe file to the name of the RPG file?

PIcaRDMPC, is that true that you can make your game run automatically if you rename GAME.exe to that of the RPG file? I didn't know you could do that.

I'm not sure if that's how you do it, but you can make the RPG file run automatically with the right EXE file. I've seen it with things like Ends of the Earth 2, and I think one random version of FFH as well.

I would like to point out that Setu was indeed acting like a jerk to Jena22, and should learn to keep his mouth shut unless he something helpful to say on a subject he knows something about. In this case, his belief that people should not start new threads because they "take up space" isn't something any of you should consider when posting, since we have more then enough space, and frankly, have enough to run the Renzo forums on our server along with the Castle Paradox forums. In short, the only person who seems to be ticked off at Jena22 is you, Setu. Please do not put words in the mouths of moderators.

I'm just curious, who recommended the game to jena22?

The gryphon has an ego to feed.

Sorry. I apologize for my badmood blues the other day. I'm not normally an angry kind of guy, but I have times like everyone else.

Sorry `bout that, Jena. Didn't mean to get you all tense and everything. I was a jerk the other day (even though today wasn't all that smooth either). Please forgive me.

I find it hilarious that she PMed me about it, saying it was my game...

No offense to you Jena, by the way...I just find it pretty funny considering how great a game I think Wingedmene is.

*sound of gryphon ego deflating*

I must be invisible or something, credit keeps going elsewhere. BTW, kudos to jena22 for spelling Wingedmene correctly on the first try.
