...what? What makes you think there's no way to integrate that? I can think of several ways.

Here's my second entry. More fun, and less philosophy than the first entry, this is OHR Paint.

Or as our Russian Pornographer friends might say:

Hello

100% Paint
100% Fun
100% Free

http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=745

Goodbye

(PS: The judges don't have to play it for the 10 whole minutes if they don't want to.)

Well, it would require a complete redesign of the map and tileset formats (to allow the linked groups of tiles), plus coding a whole new editor.

Ok, let me clarify: No way to easily integrate it in a manner that justifies the time and effort required to do so.

Heh. Giz, keep your brain in good condition, I wanna see what you think of next.

Mini criticism: it should delete a colour NPC before laying the next one down. Or, alternatively, use tiles.

Hm. I was afraid that might delete the cursor, but I guess there's a button to fix that. I'll try it and see how it works.

Wow, okay. That worked pretty spiffy. Now the only real glaring error is that the cursor will always appear under a painted area, but that's due to how I chose to number stuff, and it'd probably be a pain in the butt to fix. If anyone was really interested, I could probably modify the code a little, and add as many different colors as there are NPCs (36? 40? Something like that), but I think given the limits of the paper (Which also theoretically could be extended, but it'd be harder to export) , 16 is a pretty safe spot to leave it at for now.

What if you made the cursor into the hero, and used the bitset to draw him on top?

Or, use create npc() to make the cursor instead of placing it on the map. Since create npc() uses the lowest (=drawn last = drawn on top) npcs first, the cursor will be drawn on top of everything.

I could, I suppose. I've thought of it, it just didn't seem like that important of a problem to fix, but maybe I'll finish this one off nice and pretty until I find a better project to work on.

I'd imagine it'd be much more convenient to use maptiles instead of NPCs as pixels in a Paint program. Not only does it remove the 300 NPC limit, but the player can save screenshots of larger images by pressing F1 when he's done drawing.

My youngest brother beat the game in 35 moves. Can you do it in less?

29 on my first try. Nice game. Needs music and needs to be a little bit faster.

My lowest on the 3rd try is 29 as well.
Iblis you have good memory, so far you got the highest score.

As for the speed, do you mean the speed at which cursor moves or the speed at which the cards are flipped down?
I probably won't change the speed of flip down because I think it gives user enough time to memorize the card.

I might release dx version of the game, which will feature more cards and characters.

About music, I will try to find something relaxing for the dx version, might add couple of tracks and have it play random music each time you start a new game.

Both -- the cards should unflip when an arrow key is pressed and the cursor ought to move much faster.

Alrighty, I will do that in the DX version.
Thanks for the suggestion moogle1.

26 on my first try. I expect that 24 shouldn't be hard to get.

I feel bad, I only got 31 on my first try...

Moogle is right, make the second card flipping back faster!
