Scores are in, but before the winner is declared, and the prize given, someone check my math. I may've missed a vote. (Fenrir giving FFH2 a 0 0 0 gave me a heartattack, since I didn't mark that on my list. And Leroy forgetting to vote for Creativity made his vote 7/0/0) Anyway, preliminary scores are:

FFH-2:

Pitch Black:
Fun 57
Creativity 71

Run Run Zombie Revolution:
Fun 41

Scariness 22
Total 120

Halloween Quest:
Fun 64

Pitch Black was both the Scariest and most Creative games, and Halloween Quest was the most Fun, beating Pitch Black by 7 points in that category.

However, the grand winner (By my count) is Pitch Black, with a score of 174, and a 16 point margin of victory. This was truely a close contest, and I congratulate Shadowiii for winning, as well as our other entrants for making 4 excellent games. Also, thanks to the 8 voters. The prize will be given when someone else double checks the scores, and when Shadowiii and Inferior_Minion talk about it. I have no idea how he's going to handle this.

EDIT: These scores aren't correct, we don't think. Inferior Minion checked,
and he found that HQ was off by around 20 points, and RRZR was off by 1. However, this error doesn't make any effect on the end result. HQ is still 2nd, Pitch Black still 1st. IM Requests taht someone check his scores, but to be doubly sure, I won't say what IM came up with.

Anyway, this should prove that sequels made for the point of making sequels based on community demand is a bad thing.

Shhh! Don't drown out sequels Fen! Wait, I don't wonna spoil HQ's ending! Grr!! I think I just did! But anyways, maybe more votes (doubt it) will trickle in tonight. You never know, and even still, it was close I'd say. It's an honor to make 2nd place rather than the horrible score I made in the 48 Hour Contest! Hehe.

RRZR: 119 (Difference of 1 and 4....it's gotta be around there somewhere )
HQ: 138 (Well Shadow and I are only off by 1 )

My calculations were done at 1 or 2 or something and went straight from the thread to the calculator....I'd trust Shadowiii's score before mine :-P

Yeah some games are good for sequels though. Member Fen? Hehe. Anyways, I think you all should wait for next years contest for sure! As Fen said, my game was a lot like Kingdom Hearts in a lotta ways. And you can be sure that the wait for the sequel I mean uhh.. screw it, will be a while. Ok, just a year. So yeah! Wait until next year when I blow you all away yet again! And next time, I'm taking first place! So watch out Shadowiii and Mr.B! Because HQ will come back to win!

The sequels! THE SEQUELS! AHGH! Naw, I will blow yall away with mah sequel to a game that hasn't even been made yet that will be haloweeny! YAY! Although nothing is certain yet, so don't get your hopes up, any of you. And stop being mean to Fen. His game had some creepy stuff in it.

Next years contest should be called the haloween blowout, and I may not be ready to make mah sequel, so I might just make a commical halloween party game, or something. I can hardly wait!

No one was messing with Fen. I personally liked FFH2. I don't remember if he said he was gonna trash the game or not, but I personally would love to see more. The characters are very good. It's one of the few games I've played that I can like on this site, because few games on this site attract my attention. Good job Fen, please finish. Anyways, if Gizmog1 doesn't host another Halloween Contest, then please someone do it. I could if he doesn't. But I'd like to worry about my game since as you know, I will make it very promising and fuifilling.
