Count me in you guys. This contest sounds so awesome. But, one last question, which I'm sure was answered, I'm just too lazy to read the whole board. Anyways, just double checking, but this is going to be an entire game right? Well anyways, does it have to be scary? Because I have some killer ideas for stuff that isn't exactly scary. But more along the lines of........ (HEHEHE, thought I was gonna say didn't yea!) So, expect competition from RMZ this time.

I'll chose ONE person amoung my competition from which to reveal exactly WHAT it is I'm working on. Let's just say hopefully you guys'll be getting an early christmas present. And the only thing scary will be either the fact it'll be done so early, or the wonderful array of undead in the game.

He he, wow. That was...fast. I...got...a title screen...erm...yeah. I made it in...photoshop!

Well, here's all the hints for mine. Basically, its unlike any OHR game you've ever seen. No, I'm serious, I totally changed how it works. I'm trying to convince Mr. B to be my plotscripting assistant because I can't plotscript worth beans, and this is a massive plotscripting monster. I can tell you one thing: there are no tilemaps. Well, there is ONE set, but thats it. Yup, not tilemaps (yipiee! I hate them!). Hopefully I can actually get this done before halloween (that is, if Mr. B can fix this horrible mess I made...yeargh! Happy

You all know that my answer be yes if i could, but i cant due to my total want of perfection but lack of plotscripting and laziness to learn it. so in the end no, & that just made this whole post for nothing except that i must get above +50 posts!!!! :flamedevil:

I don't think anonymous posting will fix anything. I mean, it's not like your friends won't have some clue as to what you're doing, and they could be told anyway, so no, the games don't have to be anonymous. But, yes, they must be scary, if you want to get points in that category. Theoretically, you could score 10 in creativity, 10 in Fun, and 3 in Scary and still win, it's just that with this being halloween, Scariness needs to factor in, and there's good ways to do it.

Edit: RMZ, It doesn't have to be a finished game, but it will only be judged on what it is at it's release, not what it could or will be later.

Edit Part Deux: Also, in IRC I was asked if one person can work on multiple projects. If you really feel like handicapping yourself by working on more then one game, go for it.

I think it should be anonymous. As in past competitions, it turned out more of a popularity contest than anything. Being an anonymous contest would rule this out. There should also be a rule placed that disqualifies someone from telling which one you made until voting is over. Just my 2 cents.
