Yeah, the "making of" an OHR game is real exciting, Khan.

Actually I'm more interested in that than the actual game... if the comedy goldmine that is rpgcreations.com is any indication, the extras should top The Big Lebowski AND everything Richard Pryor ever did.

It is already clear to most of us that the "making of" will have to be extremely long.

A nice feature would be a "deadline missed counter", where throughout the "making of" everytime the game was said to be due on a date and wasn't actually released, it would incriment.

Actually, that alone would make it worth buying.

The reasons the extras are only on the CD version is a) a special "thank you!" for buying the CD and b) bandwidth. I am hoping to include a lot of stuff on that CD, aiming to fill the entire thing up with goodies.

It seems Jade's Musician Curse will be haunting it all the way up to release, as one of the musicians decided to pull his 25 or so tracks at the last minute, after saying nothing over the past few months. So now Jazz Man is the only commisioned music man in the game. We will have to fill the rest with public domain.

Personally, I'd rather wait 6 more months for a game with 100% original music than 30 days for a game with ripped music, and it's not like you have any more pride to lose anyways.

I agree with Sephy. You've come this far already trying to make it a purely(mostly?) original work. I'm pretty sure you could still find a composer to work with you, and now that the game's almost complete, you could actually end up with better music than before.

Just a thought.
