The new release has something that annoys me, and it's kind of subtle, but noticeable. The drawing cursor has become a lot more 'slippery' so to speak. When you move it around to draw things, it has a higher tendency to sort of 'slip' an extra pixel or two over. This can cause dragged lines when you're drawing with the pencil tool. It's been happening with the latest release of ubersetzung.

EDIT: Check that. The map cursor is the same way. Basically, scrolling with a cursor of any kind drags on a little longer than it should.

I have noticed the lagging graphics cursor too. There was a similar problem with the text box cursor a few updates back.

Huh. I never noticed anything like that. Do you have a slow computer?

I don't believe so. It's a Pentium III with a 1.something processor and 1 gb of RAM. I bought this laptop about half a year ago.

And the_dude, I know what you're talking about. The bug seemed to have been triggered by map resizing, but I haven't seen that happen since many nightlies back.

Definitely sounds like a bug. Is it reproduceable consistently, or is it random?
Could you put it in bugzilla?

Hmm, no that sounds plenty fast enough. So that probably has nothing to do with it... Interesting.

I don't know if this would be considered a bug or not, but I guess I should mention it anyways.

I was playing Fat Frog just a bit ago. As most know, this game is OLD (released in 1999). Well, I saved my game and died in a fight. When I loaded the save back up, all textboxes say "invalid textbox" and doors don't work.

In fact, when you try and start a new game, you get the same "invalid textbox" effect.

Again, I doubt this is a big issue, as the game is almost 10 years old, but I figured i'd mention it anyways.

EDIT: I managed to get it working on "Handshake", so I guess I will just play it on that for the time being.

So it works on handshake, but fails in ubersetzung? That definitely sounds like a bug.

EDIT: For the record, this was '' . bug_title('482') . ''

Do you have a joystick or gamepad attached? If you do, and if it has an "autofire" feature, it could cause the problem you are seeing.

Hmm, this happened to me once, but it was 7 instead of 1. Quitting and restarting fixed it. I don't think it's a bug in the engine.

I've probably mentioned it before, but midis don't loop smoothly anymore. Ah well, it could be worse.

Did you mean '' . bug_title('469') . '' or did you mean the fact that loop sysex points in midi don't work with the music_sdl backend?
