Ooh! Ooh! I thought of another difficult thing for me, "How do I draw a tree without breaking my grass tile?" |

Draw the tree on a white (or whatever color you choose, it just has to be the same shade of the same color) background. When this is finished, open the file in paint brush, select the tree, enable the 'transparency' mode which allows the secondary color to become the transparent color (White in this case). Then drag the tree over to a patch of grass tiles (Probably 3 tiles x 3 tiles).
Erm. You know what? Just draw the grass around the tree. |

I guess I will have to draw grass around the tree, which is something I am tired of doing by now.
I wonder if I can export some of my tiles into an image editor, make a tree and paste it on, then cut the tile back into OHR without any palette problems. |

Well, you're always going to face a few palette problems if you're going to work out of the OHR, but the pasting a tree onto your tiles is definitely doable. It's what I was trying to say in my first suggestion.
Let's say you drew a tree with the dimensions 20x40 pixels. You would prepare two grass tiles connected head to bottom to form a 20x40 grass tile.
Even easier! Just import your tree (Drawn outside of the OHR?) into the OHR, make sure that each of the tree's background color is the transparent black (Or whatever color you altered it to be. I'm not too used to this new concept, since I haven't played around with it at all).
[Ctrl]+[c] one of the tree tiles, then [Ctrl]+[t] on top of the designated grass tile. Do this with each of your tree tiles, and you should have a tree set.
Hope this helps out. |

Still, my happy little trees are probably going to look more like emo little shrubberies until I can draw Trees better in the future. >_< I am just going with the "Tree pouch" route for now. |

"Emo Shrubbery" would make a good Earthbound enemy. _________________
