Here's a question...

A while back I entered DJ Fenix's 48-hour contest, which ended up falling apart. I wrote a game and did put up a link for judging, but it never got judged. It hasn't been put up on CP or anything, so I wouldn't say I've technically released it yet.

I'd love to have a chance to still use it. Would it be legal for me to spend the month spiffing it up and enter it?

There are no restrictions on what is eligible for the contest. Just don't expect to receive any credit or respect if you release Sword of Jade: Ysoft Edition.

You can get upto 1 point if Fyre says you may enter it, though.
