Ok back on topic. I am trying to play guitar, but I eventually want to learn bass, or the violin. The music they make is so hauntingly beautiful.

Chalk up tuba with my list. Odds are very good I'm going to spend the summer marching with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps out of Dubuque, Iowa playing Tuba. *flex*

Become a "playa"? Always was. It doesn't matter what the instrument, it's the player that makes it sound beautiful.

That's quite an impressive Tuba line. You guys got 9 Tubas? What?!?!

Interesting, I missed out on this one, too.

I've been playing piano for about 10 years now. My role model is Mirai Kawashima of the Japanese group, Sigh.

I've picked up guitar about a year ago and have been playing that, too. But my true passion lies in piano. I just seem so much better at it. And for some reason, people keep telling me guitar is easier to play...yet I still can't play any Shinichi Ichikawa solos yet...

I'm going to have to chalk up the Melodica for list of instruments I own that I am able to play.

Anyway, the Melodica is like a recorder or a flute, except It has piano keys and one can play chords.
It's almost as if one is blowing into a piano. It is the most interesting thing I have seen for a while.

I wonder why I have never heard of it before.

I've never heard of a Melodica before either. Strange. Any chance that you can get a picture of it posted?
