I think casual swearing should be allowed. Not excessive, but occasional. It's not going to kill anybody, Setu.

I doubt that popular opinion will have any sway on Setu's convictions.

Whoever can tell me what song these lyrics are to will be my friend forever. (though I think the only person with a chance is Cube....he he)

Title: ***** *** ** ******

Run through the cold of the night
As passion burns in your heart
Ready to fight, a knife held close by your side
Like a proud wolf alone in the dark
With eyes that watch the world
And my name like a shadow
On the face of the moon

Chorus
Broken mirror, a million shades of light
The old echo fades away
But just you and I
Can find the answer
And then, we can run to the end, of the world
We can run to the end of the world

Cold fire clenched to my heart
In the blue of night
Torn by this pain, I paint your name in sound
And the girl of the dawn, with eyes of blue, and angel wings
The songs of the season are her only song

Chorus

We met in the mists of morning
And parted deep in the night
Broken sword and shield, and the tears that never fall
But run through the heart
Washed away by the darkest water
The world is peaceful and still

Chorus

Hint: The fact that it doesn't rhyme is a big hint.

Random Thought: AAAAAH! IM SPAMMING! By the way, none of that was copied nor pasted. It was all home-grown typed by me. Yes, I have too much spare time.

Wow, someone got it that fast. And I thought it was hard. :p

Yeah, cool song. Xenogears has a tight soundtrack.

Eyes on Me...

I heard that song somewhere, and those are the only lyrics I remember. Hmmm...

Its the love song from Final Fantasy 8 (but I'm assuming you know that because of your avatar).

I can't say I liked that peace. Heck, the only song I liked in FF8 was Ragnarock's flying theme and The Extreme. FF6 has a much better soundtrack. Raspberry! Except its midi, which puts it down a notch...Boo hoo.

FF8 had, imo, the worst soundtrack of any FF.

I actually thought it had one of the best. Soundtracks 1-5 sucked. Expect FF4 Big Whale Theme. And FF2 Battle.

FF8 had a couple good songs, but it's world map theme gave it negative 6039629069024690724906967042 points.

WHAT!?

Well, I'll agree with you on the FF2 battle. One of my favorite battle themes in all Final Fantasy Games (my favorite battle theme of all time is Golden Sun's...that song is horribly addicting). But...Final Fantasy 4's boss theme is by far the best boss theme in the FF series. It has a medieval/goth sound to it that makes it stupendious. FF4's world theme was good too.

By far the best forest theme is FF6's mystic forest. Me and my family actually 'jammed' it once on recorder, violin, piano, and guitar. It sounded pretty sweet. "Devil's Lab" is THE BEST DUNGEON THEME EVER. NO EXCEPTIONS. Well, I'll admit FF8's "dungeon" theme was good. I confess, that probably is my favorite song in the entire FF8 game.

Hmm, Dancing Mad is the most creative F-Boss theme, but FF7's is my favorite, simply because it is orchistrated instead of midi. I have a BEAUTIFUL rendition of FF6's world theme with an added part sung in japanese by some girl...beautiful.

Even though I've never played FFX, To Zanarkand is an amazing piece. Back to FF6, Cefca (Kefka in English)'s theme is astounding too.

Can't forget FF7...hmm...well...erm...uh...it had...well...Anxious Heart was nice. Aeris' theme WAS good but it sounded too much like Celes' theme (listen to them both at the same time and you'll know what I mean), Highwind was ANNOYING, world theme was decent but too slow, argh.

FF8's overworld is the worst ever. I hate it. Burn.

FF9 had a nice battle theme. Thats all I can say. Oh, and the airship tune was catchy too.

WOAH THIS POST IS LONG. AND ITS ALL ABOUT FF MUSIC. EGADS. And the CD I'm listening too now is Creid (Xenogears + Millenial Fair). Xenogears is my most favorite soundtrack ever at this point, with FF6 cutting close.

But yeah, I dislike FF8's. Kinda...overdone...and too repetative. I was freakin sick of "Fithos Lusec Wecas Vinosec" by the end of that game.

I really liked FF3j's boss battle theme.

I also agree that Xenogears had the best soundtrack, but my second would be Chrono Trigger. I think FF6 would probably be after that.
