I have gotten right into this game and I am stuck

Could someone point me in the right direction ?
I think iy is the 3rd chapter

Hello. I'm glad that you are enjoying the game!
If you are in the second chapter (Kahn the dwarf) then you will not be able to get through this barrier, and will have to explore elsewhere to find what you are looking for. If you are in the third chapter (Dalis the merchant) then there are a couple things that could have gone wrong.
1. Did you speak to the King of Enipol?
2. Did you acquire a second ally?
I don't want to spoil anything for you that you might discover on your own. If your answer is yes to both of those questions, you may have missed what one of them said and I will remind you of it.
Thanks again, and I really hope you finish the game! It is quite long, but I enjoyed both making it and playing it a lot. I began a second game (a prequel actually), but it will not be complete for some time yet. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

Thank you once again for your interest in my game! Be sure to let me know of any other questions or concerns you have. I have begun thinking about working on the prequel again (it has been on a long layoff while my band has been in the recording studio, which will conclude in a few weeks), so any feedback is welcome. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

A while back, I thought about offering to draw attacking/casting/hurt type poses for your battle graphics(y'know, so they aren't so blinky). Heck, I think even copy/pasting the existing stand/step poses would be better than the way it was.
I must say, however, that I thought the graphics and battles were pretty good overall, the music was great, and the storytelling has to be some of the best I can remember seing in the OHR. Too bad I could never finish the second chapter. _________________ "I didn't start the flame war;

I thank you for your compliments Ronin. You should download the latest version and try playing again. There were no outstanding bugs that either I or Meatballsub could find.
I like the graphical style as well, but I'm not going to pretend that it is 'good'. I'm trying to make it somewhat 'good' in Tales II. But that is still a long ways off (although I have recently gotten a little more time and I am trying to start working on it again). _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:
