You know... "By treating girls special", I mean "don't screw around." Gawking and circle jerking (as Battleblaze describes) is obviously the norm. Treating a girl like any other person, to me, is special treatment on its own.
If a girl is a pervert, then "by treating her like most guys", I mean "stay the hell away and find better friends." Yeah. Staying away from people I don't like applies to girls too.

This explanation would have been best if you had supplied it with your previous post. :-P
While I wouldn't normally agree with your "gawking and circle jerking is obviously the norm" statement, the fact that all the guys that I work with at my job display such behavior (a girl got caught shoplifting a while back and upon explaining to one of the new guys that this happened, the first question out of his mouth was "was she hot?") makes me sad to nod my head yes... yes, it does seem to be the case.

Well, there are a lot of times when it isn't true, especially if you go to the right places, but yeah. Jobs and schools are probably the key place where it stands true, and usually male dominated places on the internet.
