It has almost been three years since I first conceived the idea that would materialize into what has been known as "Fiend Hunter." The idea came to me during a period of creativity that I seem to have lost in favor of other interests, but has always called to me to finish. The ideas and concepts I drafted just seemed so easy to create, absolutely within my power to produce.
But alas, three years of procrastination has produced nothing but a single flawed demo. Even though there is enough material for a whole second demo containing a scenario created exclusively for it, nothing ever finished.
What shall I blame for this? Perhaps my own procrastination, or most likely laziness, has led to this. In fact, a year ago I attempted to return to development, only to realize I forgot my editing password! During this time I remembered it, and attempted to return to editing Fiend Hunter for a second demo. I realized I forgot nearly everything about OHR in the time I spent away from programming!
The concept still remains to be completed, and it is something I want to see through. I have continued to refine the plot, concept, and details of the game during this time.
Yet I cannot fully say that I will finish this game. I am extremely busy now, which is one of the reasons I no longer have had the time for the OHR. Despite that, however, I miss the countless days I spent drawing up concepts and ideas and sharing them with everyone. I know I am most likely an unknown or forgotten face among everyone here by now, but it is still an accomplishment for me to know that this demo has achieved even 450+ downloads, and even a few positive comments.
All I have to do is drop work, school, and my numerous ties to the other websites I am involved with and my musical projects... heh, anyways, this was just me dropping by for a little blurb.
I'd love to stay in contact with some of the folks who have comments on this demo, perhaps I can finish what little was to complete on the second demo and release it before I depart. I completely revamped the graphics and strengthened the game mechanics, but nobody has seen that!
Farewell, for now.
