The Battles are balanced in the game.They might be a bit easy int he begining because most of my game testers (like 5) are new to OHR (one never even played an RPG). So the first battles are the walk before the run. The 1st level boss is odd though.Sometimes you can kick his ass alone using the basic move and healing every now and then. Other times he can kill you and your partner reeeel fast. But there are ways to get around this.*Game hint* You can use gaurd to avoid damage (you can't attack though). And the main hero has a finisher that does like 25 damage for a small amount of MP (most attacks do 3 damage) but takes a while to use. But if you help gaurd the main hero with an item you can do tons of damage without having the hero take any (the secondary charecter will be open though).
As for useless attacks I'm trying to cut down on those. Its just you really dont NEED elemental attacks unless you're fighting an elemental enemy. Example: You have an attack called pure punch.It dosen't do any extra damage but it takes MP. Why? Because the punch isn't limeted by any elemental effects. Its in fact a great attack. But only usefulla t certain times.
LOZSWOG's stats werepretty random and huge.And I made it when I was in like pre-math.So it was willy nilly. This time around thing are simplified to smaller numbers so if a player wanted to they could crunch all the stat numbers in their head. I really am trying for fun & challenging battles because its what most RPGs are built behind. The battle of good vs. evil.

Well you are a norm.But lots of norms liek to vacation in the No0b zone because its less serious and stressful. So you'd live in the Nrelm. But your personality is mostly neutral, I have nothing to work off of.

You are an asshole. But I could really care less on what you have to say. One angry redheads opinion isn't suddenly going to change my mind. So whatever stay mad and whatnot because I'm not phased. I've already changed the charecter so I guess its not you anymore. So if that stick up your ass is still there its just because you like it like that.

I've already changed my mind about that. I think you should be a owner of some sort of business.Dosen't really matter now though, I'm still far from adding in all the side story stuff.
Fen. I decided to diss the guy with big pencil act and make him a big effing wolf-man. He's clothed/armored for the most part.
Rinku. I wanted to make him old. But not so old that he wasn't intelligent. So I started with a twenty something baseface and added on little by little until you get what you see. In honor of his link theme his clothes are all greenish.
What used to be shadowiii. I need to come up with a new name since he has no faith in my abstract idea. WHich I can understand because it sounds kinda nuts if you don't openup your mind.But whatever. I kept the ninja theme.
All but the second to last one are from the trial scene in the game where you meet some of the admin for the first time. I'm not done so don't ask me if there are just 3 admins.

The whole damn game is creative.That seems to be why somepeople hate it or just don't get it. When I say the charecters are loosly based. I mean IM isn't a guy who runs a message board and battleblaze isn't a bored highschooler. I mean Mike Caron isn't a programmer who works on OHR. Thats what I meant.I just took whats basically there and twisted it around to make charecters based off people but in a world all their own. I can't totally describe it, you just have to play the game. Think of it as a matrix of sorts (not the math kind). people are the same on both planes...but not. You cannot be told what the matrix is, you must see it for yourself. LongeBane,Shadowiii I'm sorry you hate my game with the intensity of a thousand suns but you'll just have to get over it. Not everyone will like everything. Take anime. Its werid by normal standards, thousands of people love it (me). Yet thousands of people thinks its just kid stuff and can't not be taken seriously. You can flame and hate on me all you want but I refuse to take the war path with you. If it makes you feel better please continue by all means. But know that I coulden't give half a damn.
