The cut scenes look pretty spiffalicious. That style intrigues me.
The map tiles look decent and the sprites are doable. Fix the spelling, and all I will have to fear is the possibility of poor game play. Big grin

Heres a great idea for my character:
Phil Arts=A mysterius Dark Knight who survive the CN&IM war. Originaly he was a Palidin in IMs army until the lost of his best friend and comrade,
Sephroth. After his death, sorrow consume him into a Dark Knight and hide in the Paradox Mountain Range.

I thought I might give you an idea Big grin

Um, the way you're using people like that...I mean, you even said your game is only loosely based on the people in RL. What I'm trying to say is, you're not asking anyone permission for using them in your game. So not only is that bad, but you're only loosely basing your characters, meaning thats twice the reason to be bothered by the fact that you're using someone without their permission.

I mean, you might think it's just a name, but those people have no control over what you say about them, so I think that's kind of, you know, wrong. Unless its really come to the time that CP doesn't mind people blatently using their names.

Its not like I'm having a game that says "Hey this person sucks." Its a fun game with total fantasy story.We should all big big enough people here to just accept a fun game that we can all laugh at and enjoy. I'm gonna be releasing the demo soon, if it sucks,people hate it, don't wanna be in it, I'll just alter the game or take it off the game list and cease production. No huge deal.

Shadowiii's post only further confirms the fact that people just don't want to be in a game created by someone they don't know/like/trust (and this is aside the fact you don't ask permission). It doesn't matter if you had "fun" or humerous intentions. I remember Charbile took the time to ask me if he could base a character off of me for SOJ, even though that character didn't even have my name. I remember a community game made years back by cardcaptorstacy, but she too gave the consent of the people she was going to use (in fact, they had to sign up to be in the game). The point: You're going about this the wrong way.

If you insist on trespassing, For your title, CastleParadox vs Battleblag, you should make everyone in CP beat the shit out of you. It is actually appropriate to the title.

Well, I think this game is shaping up much more nicely than LOZSOG. As I stated in my review, the cutscenes you make are quite good (and the shading is better in these than the were in LOZ.) Your maptiles are much, much, much, much improved. I can actually tell what everything is!

But one of the things I had a problem with in LOZSOG is that the battles were extremely unbalanced. If I remember correctly, there were a ton of moves on the spell list I didn't even bother to look up because the attack worked fine (I think after seeing the quality of battles I started skipping them with F4.) This, I think, is the biggest point you need to work on in this new creation of yours.

Maybe to avoid any problems, you should make a post when you finalize the story stating who you are going to use. If anyone objects, you can write them out.
