Student life is fun. Fun like, "drinking boric acid while sitting naked on shards of broken glass" fun. I haven't learned anything, and I hate everyone, so nothing new there huh?
One thing that has changed is where I live. I'm now stuck with 100s of like and unlike minded zombies in cramped depressing conditions. Yep you've guessed it, I'm in the university halls of residence. I'm now taking sleeping medication because the other students won't let me sleep with their incessant meaningless parties. At least the rooms are nice (in a 'no they're not because I'm lieing' kind of way) and the food is edible (well, on one meal a day, I'd eat anything)
As I've said before, I'm not learning anything in my lectures, but they're a nice place to catch up on my sleep at least. I get a lot of free time every day, which I squander playing my DS on the top floor of the library. Speaking of the library, the view from the top is spectacular, especially on sunny days (which, true to the british stereotype, don't exist)
Alright, I'm rambling now so I'll end this journal with;
"University is a place people go to learn how to be the scum of the earth"

I think I understand why people don't learn anything in these types of universities...
I'd be interested in seeing some photos of this place. Especially that view you talk about. That would be a hoot.

 I went to the wrong lecture once. Should have been in a 1st year programming lecture but ended up in a 2nd year law lecture. I learned not to make that kind of mistake again
