Too pretty! What you need now is a graphical inventory! What more could you want?

If anyone out there can script a new "Graphical Inventory" like TMC said, I'd be eager to use it.

Until then, these pictures only appear when you first find an item, accompanied by a detailed description of the item and its purpose.

Originally I wanted to build that into custom menus, but in the end I never spoke up, and had nothing to do with menus (entirely James). Some day though, someday...

If I write a script, it won't be anytime soon.

Okay back to work. I've spent the past month writing out lots of things from enemies to maps to stories, but I need to get back into the game itself if I'm going to get anywhere.

To begin, I added some lightly-visible walls where there previously were none in the first room, because an alarmingly large proportion of players complained about the difficulty here. But I'm not re-uploading the game, oh no, I'm not doing that until it's all done.

Expect screens and sprites over the course of winter break.

EDIT: Something that should be known.
There are no recovery points in the game. It's just you, your spells, your items, and the Drain system. There is, however, one little area where an ordinary-looking nut and an odd-looking fruit will grow every time you visit. One of them will heal you a bit, and the other will kill you.

For those of you that played the demo, I have good news.
In the full release, I'm going to include an option to skip the first dungeon. It's all one big prologue anyway. This gives players an opportunity to jump right into the action, with no backstory or instructions.

Some things will be missed out on though. You'll start at level 0 and without the iron sword since the spider fight was skipped, and you won't have any recovery items at first.
