I'm not an op of #cp. It's not my job to moderate what you do in it. Obviously, I know that swapping child pornography will get you a quick permaban and probably an ip referal, but the point I'm trying to make is that #cp doesn't have the same rules or moderators as the boards and journals.

You're a site admin. If the chat room associated with the site is involved in child pornography, you had better damn well care. |

I used child pornography as an example of the worst possible thing I could think that someone could do on irc. Yes, if someone was actually caught distributing child pornography, I would want to know about it. But as little that #cp is moderated, I trust the ops to deal with that sort of situation appropriatly. What I wanted you to take away from the post was that I'm not going to punish someone on the boards for what they do on #cp. If someone who is an op of #cp AND an admin of the boards found out about child pornography, HE would ban them from both places (though quite a few members of #cp aren't registered or active on the boards).

I fail to see how "I only care about what happens on the site, and not what happens in irc" translates to you as "I don't care about the site"
