For those of you looking to optimize your game, look no further! Here is where I let free all of my collected knowledge about the game. Granted, this knowledge didn't net me a huge score, but I'm working there.

Scoring:
- Each battle has a base value of 5 points.
- 1 point is added for each minute that has elapsed. (The game lasts six minutes, so up to 5 more points can be added here.)
- 5 points are added if Comrade Bomb joins the party.
- 2 points are added if the scenario changes to "RUN AWAY" or "LOSE THE BATTLE." (This should maybe be higher, because the change is incredibly easy to miss.) Rarely, it will try to be both and get a total bonus of 4 here.

So a single battle can be worth 5 to 19 points. At the end of the game, your combined score is modified:

Final score = subtotal x wins / (losses + 1)

If you play a perfect game, then your score should be huge. If your wins and losses are about the same, then you get pretty close to your base score.

Scenarios:
- Most of the scenarios have a timer that causes you to lose when it elapses. The exceptions are the TMNT and Pac-Man scenarios: TMNT has a win-timer instead and Pac-Man only has the ghosts.
- Failure in TMNT comes from leaving a pizza or mouser alone for too long. ("Too long" turns out to be pretty variable.) You automatically win the scenario when the timer expires.
- As your game time increases, the following scenario changes occur: lose timer becomes shorter, Splinter becomes faster, Blinky becomes faster.

Challenges:
- If the scenario changes to LOSE or RUN, this is noted by the heroes' names changing. Glance at the name area at the beginning of every battle to make sure you're not doing the wrong thing.
- As the game progresses, it is possible to get more Comrade Bombs in your party.

Insanity:
- There is a hidden variable called "Insanity." It goes up by 1 between battles, plus 1 for each elapsed minute of play. If you lose a battle, it goes up by 5, plus 1 for each loss you've had in the past.
- Insanity increases the chances of something weird happening to the palette.
- Challenges will only occur above a certain insanity level (20 for Comrade Bomb, 30/40 for RUN/LOSE).
- Insanity does not increase the difficulty of the scenarios or increase the odds of a challenge occurring.

Special Challenges:
- Some of the scenarios have a slight chance to activate a specific event, based on your Insanity level.
- Match: colors go to black & white.
- Hammer: Comrade Bomb appears.
- another one I'm forgetting?

Ranks:
- Points needed for the next rank increase by 25 between each rank.
- The highest rank is at 1700+ points.
