I've come to realize that my addition to the series was missing from most OHR archives because:
a) I left shortly after the contest
b) It wasn't all that great of a game anyway

With this said, I still added it to the lore of ancient OHR games so that people may rediscover the... it was really a humility test to show that everyone starts up somewhere, my point is, its all custom, it all sucks, but there is STILL a little something to earn from this game.

First, the characters are tailored to the universe, this, although ugly, makes a unique and (un) appealing aspect of the game. I couldn't represent Moogle1 as a Mog or anything that cliche, I needed a "new" take on it. Two big fatty with wings, now that's ugly, but its unique. The palette also plays a role.
The Gameplay is horrible though, I agree, and more importantly THE SPELLING What?!?! OMG!!!

But it struck my mind. Every Magnus game had to approach an unknown theme from a creative perspective, and what might be the best part of my humble contribution is that theme. Although Magnus is a vague idea, one thing is told:
-SPOILER-
It did not go back in time, it reversed its course. The game starts right before the 2nd city of the world disappears (as in, the time flows the opposite way and it will soon be consumed by the fact it was NOT created anymore). With the final city answering the last possibility for saviour. More importantly, as time flows backwards, people FORGET. They go back to the genesis of time, and their minds slowly erase, yet, the livings have a stronger resistance to time than materials (why?) and for this matter, Uncommon (a rather wise character) has a couple leads left in mind. As they slowly disappear, the world (material and not living) is almost wasted. Its a rush, though it wasnt pictured as a sence of urgency, it was, nonetheless a good theme...

With this said, I thought it deserved a whole new analysis, new rules, but the same concept. Time reverse, minds erased. A rather ambitious project, but not as overly used as time travel I believe, and a much more flavorful universe in my opinion. Should I do Magnus 13 - The True Story? Just because the contest was done about 6 years ago is no excuse not to revisit this. And in fact, think of all that could've been achieved with more time? Grandtain's realization was magnificient in so many fields, I feel dumb for giving out such a good concept with underworked development.

Opened for discussion...
