I believe my first game was titled "Kirby Quest" or something of the like. It was made with "Handshake" version (Or whichever version said that it was the first to use silly names).

This was made at the time when I didn't know how to import graphics or to obtain more image slots, so everything was a Kirby (Probably because it was easiest to draw. five circles, then eyes. YAY!). You would walk around a STAR (A griddy map full of YELLOW and BLACK) and talk to dark kirbies (treasure boxes), white kirbies (living, breathing, talking kirbies), and a green kirby (DA BOSS). It wasn't until a week later that I accidentally pressed down and learned that I could add new images. YAY! Now I could make different sprites!

The game itself featured a metallic kirby that copied enemy stats through the use of the steal feature. Basically, the initial attack (copy) stole an enemie's skill (like stealing 'fire' from a fire-bird). The enemy attack would then be used as an item.

I figured that this was so pitiful a thing that I decided to start a new game: Darkmoon. This first attempt featured some original sprites, but was increadibly ugly. Around this time, I downloaded a RPGMaker Megaman game and found the character chipset. I thought "ooh. These are so much prettier than mine" so I ripped and pasted.

Then I thought "Darkmoon is stinky. I think I'll make a game about the paranormal!" Thus, came Exposing the Unknown. The game deserved the 'D' that Uncommon gave it. I actually had big plans for the game, but was incapable at the time to execute them. Graphics were ripped and were pretty, but wrong. And there was no evidence of a storyline beyond my own mind. I actually tried to deny Uncommon's negative feedback of the game for some time and continued updating it for another two months, but eventually gave it up.

What was your first game? Super Joe RPG, but since your questions are about games that I actually released, Duck and MJ.

What version of OHR was it run under? a few updates after vehicles and plotscripting IIRC.

Was it basic traditional RPG? If not, what was it? A pretty traditional FF-style game.

Was it critically acclaimed or panned? It sucked and deserved the criticism it got.

How much was it noticed? Not very much.

Were the graphics good? No.

What was the plot? It was about a duck named DUCK who went out to FIGHT THE MAN and SAVE THE WORLD.

What was your first game?
Unreleased: Uiot Raiders, released: Wacked Torpedo Frills!!!!11
Like JSH, I'll talk about WTF!!!!1 (or whatever the pattern of exclaimation marks were)

What version of OHR was it run under?
halloween 2002, I'm guessing

Was it basic traditional RPG? If not, what was it?
It wasn't even a game! (Well, I don't consider it one)

Was it critically acclaimed or panned?
It was for a halloween contest with 2? entries, I don't think anyone voted.

How much was it noticed?
I only know of one person who actually played it, Retrogamer (only person to ever mention the game again (thank goodness))

Were the graphics good?
(no)

What was the plot?
You download a haloween contest entry, read textboxes and walk around a map. There was a witch involved.

What was your first game?
Released would be Pitch Black back in...what was it? 02? 03? 03 I think.

What version of OHR was it run under?
Pfft, you figure that out.

Was it basic traditional RPG? If not, what was it?
Explore mansion with a flashlight and solve easy puzzles.

Was it critically acclaimed or panned?
Acclaimed, I've been lead to believe.

How much was it noticed?
It did pretty good, especially with me whoring it up everywhere.

Were the graphics good?
They did the job. Not wonderfully, but good enough for the girls I date.

What was the plot?
Girl goes into a mansion looking for her friends. Weird BS occurs. Then the ending happens which might have been clever, but PB2 totally rapes it, unfortunatly.

What is this for?

Good question. I should have put it in the first post. I am asking this to find out how many people debuted with a game that was out of the low-quality, noob-like stereotype. I'm curious.

The first game I ever unreleased was called "Zeks", back around 1998. It was a pretty generic rpg based around finding elemental crystals. All the heroes were palette swaps of each other. I went on #ohrrpgce as "Garfield2" and gave everyone a link to my hard drive, so I'm pretty sure no one has ever played it. It eventually gave birth to two sequels, one of which had pretty good dungeon ideas, and the other of which had above-average graphics. The potential for release disappeared when my house burned down the first time.

The first game I ever released was a short 10-minute walkaround demo called "Crystal Souls" back in the days of Zantetsuken (I really have no idea anymore). In short, it got driven through the ground because it had repetitive and boring battles, the trees had variable passability, and the character sprites had green skin (I'm color blind). The plot as a whole, if finished, would actually be really awesome, and I'm planning on using it in a future game.

Seriously? I did the same thing when I tried to send my first try of Darkmoon to Dosgames.com. Thank goodness.
