Here are a few more to show that the game is making slow but steady progress.

EDIT: Moogle pointed out the screenshots look better enlarged (thanks Moogle), due to its darkness. So click and enlarge.

What could have caused all these rocks to fall all over the street?

Another shot of you walking behind the bushes in front of your house.

Purple and red cars.. it's all the same model though.

Looking out to the horizon, it gives a deceptive perceptive of the world's current state.

This is the first "dungeon", the elementary school. Either desire to trespass or an incentive to discover something will lead you inside. I'm sure we all remember handball and four square.

The volleyball court, next to some hopscotch squares. If you look carefully you can see that there is the net hanging over the main character.

This is why you want to aspire to be something more than a janitor.

Inside a classroom. It seems nothing disruptive has happened in here, since all the chairs are still sitting up there on the desks.

Comments and suggestions please. I took PHC's previous suggestion and made the main character's skin color more appropriate for the darkness.

I feel compelled to point out that these screenies look MUCH better at a lower resolution (i.e. zoomed in). Click to enlarge.

Awesome. Still a little dark, but dark is good in these sort of games. Crap, I wih I'd have figured that out earlier.

Rocks on the street. A dark city. A school.
These screenshots kinda remind me about Silent Hill.

I suppose, that's what I thought too. However, the elementry school is just a coincidence. I was walking by an elementry school at night and I looked and thought "..what an interesting place for my horror game..." I'm sure the game will remind you some of Silent Hill (which is not to say that I'm ripping from it - just that Silent Hill gave me inspiration to try and make the game atmospheric and try to draw the player into the world...), but I don't think it's that big of a deal.
