To clarify:
Here's the story of why I chose to create a race of turtle men called Tumans and give them an elite faction known as the TipType knights over 5 years ago. Way back when I was a little kid (5 or 6), I watched TMNT and collected all of their junk. However, that phase faded into obscurity. Then, when I was 13, I started playing Diddy Kong racing. My favorite racer was TipTup. TipTup was the only one I could get a handle playing, so I adored him. Shortly afterwards, I found a Turtle in my garage. I affectionately named him TipTup, after my favorite character in Rareware's world. My brother and I loved our little pet and became obsessed with Turtles from then on. We created characters that were turtles with super powers like the characters on our favorite show DBZ. Their leader, of course, was TipTup. So the Tiptypes are more a mix of my inner violence and TipTup From DKR. Other than the muscular physique, the Tuman race has nothing in common with the TMNT gang.

It seems all quite childish that I'd create a people in the name of a character. I agree with that.
It may also be silly for me to argue this, but it needs to be known.
TMNT is cool, but Tumans are all mighty holy shit awesome. You will all know one day.

TMNT vs. Tuman Race
Here are the similarities between the two parties:

TMNT = Turtles
Tumans = Turtles

Here are some key differences between the two parties.

TMNT = 4 turtle men
Tumans = way more than 4 turtle men (TipType knights make up 6 characters)
TMNT = Fight evil
Tumans = There are good and evil Tumans. But, spiritually, they do not believe in good or evil
TMNT = Created through rapid evolution (Mutated, is more like it)
Tumans = Created through slow evolution (Natural creation)
TMNT = Teenage and I assume all the same age
Tumans = Vary in age like any people AND they live hundreds of years longer than Humans. One of the knights (TipCo) is over 300 years of age
TMNT = Study Ninjutsu
Tumans = More apt to be Druid or Magi, but are charismatic warriors as well
TMNT = Rejected in their world as different
Tumans = Accepted as normal, every day citizens of Natrah
TMNT = Flat head (Like a mushroom cap)
Tumans = Round head (like a CIRCLE)
TMNT = Three fingers and toes
Tumans = Four fingers and toes. Less than a Human, but more than a Mutant
TMNT = Headbands and usually without pants
Tumans = Headbands are not in Tuman fashion, unfortunately, but baggy pants are.
TMNT = Setting: NY, planet Earth
Tumans = Setting: Yootohpia, planet Natrah
TMNT = Live underground
Tumans = Enjoy the pleasures of above ground living
TMNT = Present day
Tumans = Future
TMNT = Sci-fi tech
Tumans = Fantasy Magic
TMNT = Vigilantes by nature
Tumans = Very spiritual and Druidic by nature, but can be very zealous crusaders

As you see, more options are open for Tumans than for the poor little TMNT. A Tuman could dress up like a TMNT and most people would be none the wiser, but that would never happen. I never thought much of the TMNT model.

Thank you all for pointing this out a million times over, but, frankly, I am sick of it. They weren't more than 5% inspired by the TMNT, and no one ever called TipTup a Mutant to my knowledge. I don't go calling every HUMAN character I see a Gundam pilot or DBZ character (Z fighters, right?). I want Tumans to get the same amount of respect. They are more thought out than any Mutant can ever be. They even have a culture, which I only lightly touched. So, please and thank you.

PS: I'm not bashing anyone. This is just something I have to get off my back.
