Review # 2 for Velduanga
Them's Fightin' Words
This isnt a review. This is a warning. I wouldnt dare call this a 'demo', more like a bane of existence. Or one big newbie slushie, depending if any of this is on purpose. The title screen held something original, but beyond that, its just lost.
Graphics
Foes are ripped or mundane. Attack(yes Attack) is disgraceful. Walkabouts are ugly, if not fugly. Battle heroes are even worse, by a lot. The backgrounds are pathetic attempts of ripping (One of them is the sample one that comes with OHR, but with a fence). And I swear those tilesets are from some other game. All the other things are ripped or in much less quality than the tilesets themselves, so I hold great suspicion over that.
Storyline
Yeah right. The game starts with the hero NOT VISIBLE!? For some reason he's behind a shop directly in the middle of the screen. WHY!? And for some reason, the hero wants to 'save the world from total and utter devestation'. Jesus, Mr. Triangle never wanted to do that and THAT was fun. There isnt even an attempt to introduce any form of story. It really feels like the creator threw it together to show off God knows what. And the next segment of the game brings you to a forest for NO REASON AT ALL? It wouldve been easier for the hero to commit suicide instead of 'live' this meaningless life.
Gameplay
Let me be frank. I'd be doing the creator a favor by saying something AT ALL with the gameplay. Saying this has gameplay is saying the sky is green.
  Battle
There are incomplete battle sets(as in, there'll be a battle formation with the Title screen and immediately ends), the other soldier foe are terribly hard yet the jellies are too easy. Another con is that theres no point to fight! You can get in a fight, run, and nothing will still change.
  Map Design
If you like dead ends, unmarked doors, and other indoor exits that lead to the exit of another building, then you still wouldnt like it. Why are there unmarked battlefields in the middle of towns? The doors are missing its pointless to press the direction buttons. One door was actually one way to an unexitable room! Did the creator not play this game at all, because thats the only way you can miss a glitch this BIG!
  Balance
For Balance there needs to be gameplay. There isn't gameplay, so it isnt applicable.
Music
Uses music that comes with OHR zip. It fits, but thats all I can say.

Enjoyment
I wanted to enjoy something in here, but the maker likes to prevent that. I dont see how anyone can enjoy this. It's actually more like being blindfolded and forced to identify species of cacti. Therels nothing to do, there's nowhere to go. This shouldnt even be run through your CPU bus to be processed.
Final Blows
There isnt anything here. It's bad or ripped graphics with mobius-like maps to keep you busy when you can just quit the game. There is a possibility to salvage this mess into a game, but the fact that this was released in this condition means that effort could very well diminish more.

Final Scores
Graphics: 1/10.0
Most are obviously ripped, with original graphics being worst in quality. And I know those tilesets arent from this game. I just need something to back that up.
Storyline: 1/10.0
I'd only comment on things that exist.
Gameplay: 1/10.0
See previous.
Music: 1/10.0
Point up for using music that fits well enough.
Enjoyment: 1/10.0
If anybody can hear me, please, stay away from this game and quarantine it. I dont even think the creator enjoyed this 'demo'.
Overall Grade: F-
Final Thoughts
I don't get why this was released. This needs SO MUCH more work in it, but the way its progressing, and the fact that the maker had the nerve to release this, any more done to it would probably make it worse.
