Review # 1 for Shadowiii
Them's Fightin' Words
Moogle1: A legend in the OHR community for his astounding plotscripting feats. This is one of them; Metomophosis is the first OHR game to have "double" sprites for all the sprites. The addition of it being a "zelda" style game is just icing on the cake.
Graphics
The graphics are decent, but of course no one has done double-nps up to this point so it wouldn't be very fair to grade the NPCs. The tilemaps are griddy but decent, and the cutscenes are reasonable as well.
Storyline
Uh...the story isn't very expressed in this game. Its actually more like an intoduction to a story (which is what it is; the game ends with Moogle1 asking the player to finish the game). But the story is rather humerous; everyone in a villiage turned into an Imp because of a witch except one blundering servant.
Gameplay
Punching imps in the head is always enjoyable. Die, you little fiends, die!
  Battle
Punching imps. With your space bar. Whee!
  Map Design
There are three maps in this game: the villiage, the little "maze" to the witch's house, and the witch's house. The maze is very irritating, but its good because you can dodge the imps!
  Balance
    N/A
Music
Its all from Legend of Mana, which seems appropriate.
Enjoyment
Its fun...but you wish it were longer.
Final Blows
Its very nice for Moogle1 to include the code with the program, because then you could write your own Metomorphosis game. Play it a few times, study it, and go make your own game.

Final Scores
Graphics: 9.5/10.0
Graphics are fine, but the main sparkle of this game is the double NPCs, which look fantastic.
Storyline: 2/10.0
What story? Humorous, but cut off. It would be fun if this game were a long Legend of Mana type thing, but it isnt.
Gameplay: 8.5/10.0
Fun fun fun to play! Though it is difficult, its still fun to beat the crap out of stupid little imps.
Music: 3/10.0
Its all ripped, but its a good ripped.
Enjoyment: 7.5/10.0
Fun to play, but too short. You'll be mad there isn't more. But you can always make your own; the code is included!
Overall Grade: B-
Final Thoughts
Metomorphosis is a game that everyone should play at least once. Its interesting to see the larger NPCs, and fun to ram your fist through some imp's skull. But once you beat it, study the code, and wish you could do that, you'll probably delete it.
