Review # 3 for JSH357
Them's Fightin' Words
    So, it's finally here!
A new Arfenhouse game has befallen the OHRRPGCE community!
I must say, when I saw that Misteroo wasn't the creator of this game, I was a bit worried about its quality, but I think that Seppel did a fantastic job on this game! Let's move on, shall we?
Graphics
Very true to the Arfenhouse legacy. The graphics are meant to be god-awful at times and lovely at others. Everything is as craporific as in Arfenhouse III, and justice is still at hand. Most of the graphics are recycled from AHIII,(just as graphics in that game were taken from its prequels) but new graphics, which fit the game well, were also added.

Storyline
Well, to be honest, this is the only part of the game I'm a bit 'eh?' about. AH4 has a definite plot, unlike the past games. It's hard as a nut to understand the plot through the n00b-speak, but it's most definitely there. This time around, the characters seem to have more distinct personalities, which isn't bad, but not very 'Arfenhousy' if you ask me... In any case, it's kind of odd that Arfenhouse would be so 'plotty,' but it's not like it's that bad or anything either. The game focuses on copying FFVI, which isn't a bad choice or anything, but I'd have liked to see the variety of parody that AH3 had again...

Gameplay
AH4 has something that AH3 didn't: Well, ok LOTS of things. The battles are challenging, and some even require strategy. The dungeons are actually DUNGEONS instead of just straight paths. It's kind of strange to see Arfenhouse as a more traditional RPG...

  Battle
Battles are pretty well done. I didn't have any trouble with bosses/enemies being overly difficult OR too easy. The biggest problem I had was that finding an Inn early on was really tough; I had a dead PIKACHU!!11 for quite a while. This game has an 'Esper' system. (ELIMENTZ OV MANGA!!11) The Esperish system is similar to FFVI's... you find the MANGA ELIMENTZ and from them you can teach your characters spells. Only certain characters can learn certain spells. I like this, because it takes FFVI's system and improves upon it drastically. I did run out of money for equipment and spells quite a bit, though.

  Map Design
Maps are pretty good. There's variety in dungeons, which is nice to see in an OHR game. (Heck, in any RPG) Lots of items are scattered about the game's twisty dungeons. I did get lost in a few towns, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

  Balance
Battles were well-balanced. The big problem was money flow... I never seemed to have enough money to get all the stuff I wanted. But then, I rushed a lot. Maybe the creator intended more levelling up than I particiapted in. Eh, well.

Music
My speaker can't play BAMs, but I'm sure it's great, knowing Arfenhouse.

Enjoyment
Well, this game was an unexpected jewel! I enjoyed it a lot, and I hope DISC TOO!111 comes out swiftly. I might replay it now and see if I can find all of the BOBOGRAPH treasures... Er, maybe next update.

Final Blows
This was a fantastic 'fan-game' for the Arfenhouse Series. It just goes to show you; somtimes fangames can be done right.

Final Scores
Graphics: 9.5/10.0
Excellent. Arfenhouse graphics at their best. Even the new "real people" were fantastic.
Storyline: 8.5/10.0
A bit of a surprise, but enjoyable nonetheless. I just wish the game were longer!
Gameplay: 9/10.0
Well-done, and enjoyable to the end. Needs a LITTLE tweaking early on.
Music: 9.5/10.0
I hope to the lord of the internet it's a bunch of random game tunes... Then my score will be justified.
Enjoyment: 9.5/10.0
Every Arfenhouse fan should download this. UR GAY JOE
Overall Grade: A
Final Thoughts
The scene where HOUSEMASTER!!11 uh... 'EZSEXZES' GOOD KITTY!!11 actually made me groan.. 0_o

Er... I guess I'm not into furs?
