Review # 7 for SilverWolf
Them's Fightin' Words
Palmus travels onto Darkowl territory. He fights Green Saiba's and his arch rival Metallix. Finally, bloody and panting, he battles Darkowl and wins, only to watch Darkowl run away. He therefor creates Gundams similar to Darkowl's gundams, which attach to Frank, Javi, and 2 others. Palmus shows these 4 the power they have concealed for so long, the power of the Gundam.

Whew! Okay, my story wasn't as well put as it was in the game, but you get the point (I'm lousy with summaries heh). Basically, the story was going pretty well. I was kicking major ass with my 4 Gundams and Green Saiba's were falling like flies...until the battle with Xi, Chi, Tau, and Psi. Unfortunately I was unable to defeat them, no matter how many times I tried. I'm figuring you have to be a higher level to kill them, so I can only report up to this point of the game. The graphics fit the game quite well, creating that 'spacey' atmosphere, although some were ripped. The hero graphics were very well drawn and added an extra point to the graphics score. The title screen was well done, simple and sweet. The music added to the fighting mood.

On the other hand, there were some bad things too. People, always remember to check and check and check again for grammar and spelling mistakes! If you have a large number of spelling/grammar mistakes it informs players that you are lazy and don't care about your game. Fortunately, I only found a few. Also a plotscripting problem during part of the Gundam text became annoying (described further in the gameplay score). Battles were sometimes long and boring. A Green Saiba always did 1 damage or missed. All of this still couldn't hide this game's potentional though.

Final Scores
Graphics: 8/10.0
Some original.....some ripped....they looked rather nice overall.
Storyline: 7/10.0
Average storyline. Believe it or not, the story didn't really resemble the Gundam series (of which episodes I've seen anyway) except for the mobile suits and such. Some grammar errors, but not a large amount.
Gameplay: 7.5/10.0
Good gameplay. There was one bug that bothered me though. When Frank was talking with Palmus the script ran the same text twice in some spots. Also, the battle with Xi, Chi, Tau, and Psi was impossible for me to beat. Therefor I didn't get to test the game past this point (maybe I had to level up some more or I missed some weapon?) Otherwise it was an interesting change from the common game.
Music: 6/10.0
I suppose it was ripped, but it fit well and set a good fighting mood.
Overall Grade: C+
Final Thoughts
Sigma isn't a bad RPG, then again it's not a good RPG either. If the Xi battle is made easier then the game would be a lot more fun. Download this game if you have some spare time.
