Review # 14 for RedMaverickZero A fairly nice veiw of the one room of the entire "game".
Them's Fightin' Words
You know that feeling you get when you get a new game? You get all psyched up thinking it's gonna be so great. Thinking, "Yes, I wanted a new game for so long and this will be so great!". Well don't expect any of that for this game. This game is right up there with Wandering Moneky.
The graphics are much better but other than that, much is in comparison when it comes to err... everything.

Graphics
Graphics were the only positive part of the game. Until you see that the creator of this game made the graphics in 2 frames each. He/She just copied and pasted those two frames for each direction. Variety would've helped, but based off what this game was, nothing really could've helped this damn massacre. The maptiles were fairly nice as well. Something about them looked nice. The shading and the color schemes were all very nicely thought out and put together. Maybe the creator imported them, maybe he/she didn't. But wherever these maptiles were aquired they were drawn nicely. Alright, enough of the nice things. On to the bulk of the bad.

Storyline
Okay, invision a robot. A brownish yellow robot. You could even call it tan if you wanted to. Now imagine two other robots, a blue one, and a tealish one. Okay that's really all that involves the robots for the mostpart. Anyways, there's these two doctors. You can't trust one of em, but you can trust the other. Which one can you trust? That's pretty much the storyline. Because if you pick the wrong doctor, game over and you have to spend another 2 seconds to get back where you were. Each doctor believes in different theories about robots. Thinking one robot has a virus and the other thinks differently. Find the right doctor and you win. It showed potential, but I didn't think that the creator unveiled it all too good. It actually good have been very nice and elaborated but it ended so quickly.... Literally.

Gameplay
1 minute max.... Not exactly what I'd like to call a ton of gameplay. The storyline didn't back this portion up like most games can. It was just basically, talk to a dude, and you're done. The longest amount of stuff to do on this game was the reading. You had to read maybe 5 text boxes.... Pathetic...

  Map Design
One room.... Not walls placed anywhere. They were just drawn graphics placed to look like what it was. A room with a table and a floor... This was a poor excuse. The very least that could've been done was put the walls around the room. Absolutely unacceptable.

Music
Another aweful part. Nothing original. Nothing even ripped. It was all the music that came with the OHR when you download it. And it wasn't even a good selection. Two BAM files for THE WHOLE GAME! I don't know about you but that's another pathetic thing. You could've at least ripped some nice music for the title screen. Then again, this game didn't need anything to help it. What it did need is not to be made in the first place.

Enjoyment
None. It was perphaps my worst OHR experience. I take making games seriouslly and have been trying a lot harder on my games and seeing people just do this is like a slap in the face. Anyone can make a 1 minute game with crap for gameplay. But that doesn't mean you do it. If everyone did this where would we be? Absolutely nowhere. Exactly where this game will go.

Final Blows
This was a sad poor excuse of a game to be downloaded. I downloaded this game thinking it would be cool. You know, robots are cool. But then when I played it and it said, it will be 3 seconds long I thought it was all an inside joke. Because Mr.Triangle's Shitty Adventure 1 was 30 minutes long but I could beat it in 3 you know. Turns out, there was no inside joke. It really was 3 seconds long. And to tell you the truth, it's really nothing to brag about. Of all things, it's a good thing to brag about how long a game is.

Buying the parts for a robot $300. Telling it to sit in a corner... Pricless?

Final Scores
Graphics: 4/10.0
Good. But then again, it's the ONLY good thing about this game. The frames were awefully preportioned. The maptiles were very nice though. If this person made graphics rather than "games" he/she would be very much better off.
Storyline: 1.5/10.0
Who do you pick? Doctor 1 or Doctor 2? Could have been elaborated on, but sadly, it wasn't... This was a major drag. It sucks to see good minds wasted on such poor excuses for a game on the OHR.
Gameplay: 1/10.0
I'd give gameplay a lesser score but nothing goes lower than a 1. So you're lucky you got this. It was aweful. Like I said, 3 seconds is nothing to brag about. It's like sex, you want it to last longer, not the other way around.
Music: 1.5/10.0
Very horrible. Standard OHR given music. I'd delete the music you have and just keep the midi2bam, and then go out and rip some decent music. It's really a shame to hear such music as this in a game. It's not a good thing to hear. You get a 1.5 for there even being any.
Enjoyment: 1/10.0
As I said, the scoring doesn't go lower than a 1.0 so that's why you got that. It's not anything to brag about either. This game is very bad and I sincerely hope you don't make a game again, or if you do, work with someone. Teamwork always helps. But talk to someone a little higher than your OHR abilities.
Overall Grade: F-
Final Thoughts
Trully a game that had a lot of potential...
