You can easily resize them in a simple program like MSPaint. You MUST resize them. I found myself waiting and I'm on freakin cable.

i don't know of a single scanner program that doesn't let you at least choose the dpi. but at the very minimum you should have at least ONE program that can resize pictures. it's been a fairly standard feature ever since the earlier versions of mspaint, and most viewer programs these days (image ready, photo viewer, thumbs plus, etc...) have that feature.

i also have never seen a scanner program that didn't allow scanning of just small portions of a page instead of the entire thing. cropping should always be used when possible.

sorry... as i said before, it's just very annoying to have to scroll just to see the subject.

1- All right I resized the images...looks a litle crappy though
2- Well actually my parents bought XP for the computer, and it wont allow the installation of the program that came with the scanner and only uses the "XP" version of it , and dosnt even let me choose the area that I want, and I have the set the brightness by hand or the drawings either disapear or they come back as one black sheet. Wow. I thought my scanner was crappy... But don't ever use MS Paint to resize unless you have no other graphics programs. MS Paint really sucks when it comes to resizing. Usually a corel program does the trick.

Though for doing rough sprite work, MSPaint does an allright job. Save, and convert to a 16 color palette in another program. Simple.

I dunno, Fen. Last time I tried that out, it crapified my work. I dunno, I just prefer making OHR graphics in the OHR and only using other programs for backdrops.

Wow, am I insane? I've always used MS paint for OHR graphics of all types, except The Gimp for optimizing their palettes and occasionally Corel Photo House 3 for resizing, and my graphics aren't bad at all. Well, other than those three programs, I have practically nothing else to draw in... I've been using MS Paint for...7 years now Oookay... ?
