when I open an older game of mine (the original) I can execute the test game command (live testing) but on the current version, since I've started it, every time I try to use the live testing, a message comes up (error: game.exe not found) however I can open the game in the game player just fine, live test is the only thing not working. any suggestions? |

Do you have a copy of game.exe in the same directory as the copy of custom.exe that you are using to edit the game? That is required for live previewing to work.
If so, could you post the c_debug.txt file that custom.exe creates when it runs? It should be in the same folder as the .rpg file.
Also, I don't know whether you mean the "current version" of the engine (ie. a recent nightly you downloaded) or the current version of your game. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Oh. What version of the OHR are you using? There was a bug where live-previewing wouldn't work if custom.exe and game.exe had a path containing a directory with spaces in its name. That's been fixed in nightly builds for quite a while. So try the release candidate?
If that's not the problem, I'll need to see c_debug.txt (and preferably also g_debug.txt) to have any idea what the problem is. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
