Hi All,

For those of you who don't know, I host Castle Paradox out of my house and as of yesterday I've moved.

The move itself did not actually cause the downtime. I was expecting to have a day or so of downtime, but I also expected to have a week to warn people about it. It just so happened that my modem died 2 weeks before my service was supposed to end. It was too bad I had cancelled the service in advance to ensure I wasn't billed by two different ISPs in September. My previous ISP was very reluctant to do anything, and was certainly not going to send me a new modem. After a week of finger pointing and over 10 hours on tech support phone calls, I just gave up trying to get my previous internet fixed and coordinated with Cox to get my new house connected as soon as possible.

Internet was hooked up today and am very pleased with the results:


Sorry again for the downtime, but hopefully you'll have a smoother browsing experience going forward.
