500+ hits. Impressive. (Blows half-heartedly on a kazoo) And that number will probably increace by 100 when I announce the next update to it. Though that number is likely generated only by the fact that it's been mentioned at two RPG news sites already. And I see TS is slowly sneaking up in the ranking as well. Time for franchises now.

Cactaur Burgers!

Hmmm... it doesn't work as well as I thought.

Daang. You've got to be a little bit proud of yourself for this!

And soon, we shall see it reach 700 Hits. As a further note, work on the final release and the Hardtype version is currently underway, and shall be released around March 27. I already know what to put in, and what to fix where.

1. Tiamat keeps appearing in the Mirage Tower.
2. CATS doesn't drop the Fimbulwinter Rifle.
3. You can keep getting stuck in the TOF:Revisited.
4. No way to get the Offering.
5. The crystal rooms should be permanently locked after you visit them.
6. Lukhan needs to stop bloody vanishing after immediately talking to him in the TOF.
7. The first series of battles must be tweaked to allow players to get through them with certain characters. (I'll probably just add two potions to your inventory stock)

Now you know what's getting fixed. And for those anticipating the hardtype version, have fun.

Normaltype and Hardtype have been released. All work on FFH now officially ends. Pick up your flavor and enjoy.

1000 Hits! Banzai!!

This deserves some kind of celebration... something to give to the community to show my appreciation and thanks...

I know, I'll release a demo of TSSE within a month. How's that sound?

I would like to take this opportunity to toot my own horn. I Made Dis Anthology has now reached 100 hits. This wouldn't be a big deal unless you considered what a terrible game that it really was, and still it's just a few hits away from the top five. That means that for the more talented game makers out there there's plenty of hope.

I reccomend advertising your games on every MB that is even loosely related to the subject matter. Probably 60 or so of the IMD downloads were from a post I put in the talkback forums at Aintitcool.com, and then a dozen or so came from a Terry Gilliam MB.

If you have any friends who run big time websites that might like that material let them know you have a game out, maybe submit the address to search engines. I don't know if I'd reccomend buying ad space since the biggest reward for lots of hits is an inflated ego.

Seriously though, good games being advertised across the web can only widen the OHR community, and that's a good thing.

And bring us added publicity. Should the games we make start to actually attract the attention of several game-making companies, and then those said companies decide to start hiring from our ranks, that wouldn't be such a bad outcome either. Though it's a bit far-fetched, one can still dream. At the very least, you can use it as leverage when goingup for a job interview at a computer company. Made a game, you say? That shows a certain degree of dedication in my book.
