I have been recently learning how to compose music, mainly to create an original music score for my games. Thus far, I have composed one of the most popular tunes of all time, and in tribute to his 25th anniversary, I give you the original mario tune(which can be looped in-game). The song is 83 seconds in length, and in MIDI format. I have mixed one of the staffs using Bass and the other using the standard Treble. They are done using the standard Piano midi instrument. I can modify the instrument as well to anything else MIDI has.
Both are hosted on my Rackspace account:

To see the development of these MIDIs, see my YouTube video:

If you want a version with a different MIDI instrument, I'll be more than happy to alter the instrument used and export a new MIDI for you.
I will export the music via LilyPond and upload the resulting PDF music sheet, for those who may want a copy. I may also upload a MOD version as well.
UPDATE: Here are the MOD files, both about 10MB in length(WOW!):

http://c0018321.cdn1.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/mario1-bass-clef.compat.it
Here is the same quality as the MOD, but in OGG(1.3MB) format:

http://c0018321.cdn1.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/mario1-bass-clef_compat.ogg
Now consider the size of the MIDI file being a mere 4KB.
UPDATE 2: Lilypond PDF exported music sheet:
