I was wondering about that too, so i looked it up. Apparently @ is used to automatically create a link to another twitter account.... so now if anybody tweets anything with @ohrrpgce it should automatically become a link to this new account you created.
The # before a word becomes a hashtag... which seems to be sort of like a search keyword, but different in reasons which I have not yet found adequate explanation for... although I get the feeling that a lot of twitter users like to use it a s joke. |

| I think this is a great idea! I really like twitter, and it seems like a great way to easily get your name out, and kind of remind people that you exist. I've followed already, I'm @clintmakesagame if anybody cares. I don't post...er, tweet?...much anymore, but...y'know. Soon. |
