Okay guys, it's hard to tell where the mud ends and project begins. Could someone give me a quick hierarchy of the files, what links to which....what the main file is etc.

Or just a quick introduction into what each file does?

Heh, five years after being open source, we'll finally get some source documentation?

To determine what links to what, read makegame.sh and makeedit.sh (I recommend not looking at the Windows build scripts, they are full of garbage)

Your main tool for finding anything is grep (or some other search-in-files utility). If you're wondering about anything in particular, just ask.

Is there a grep for windows?

Man. Ravenshade got into my head - because of him I too am reading "OHRRPGCE" as "OHRRPGCE".
In self-defense, I've been intentionally misreading the word "OHRRPGCE" as "ORLYphage" ... which by total coincidence is a marvelous word for describing viral internet phenomena.

Yes, msys includes ports for all the usual GNU utilities to Windows. In fact, if you download the OHR source, grep.exe is included in the wip/support folder.

I finished writing up the wiki page about the source files.

As for the name, I have been calling it the OHRRPGCE for 13 years now, I am unlikely to change my mind :)

Great work, I'll try and see if I can figure out what each piece of code is doing now, that way I hope others that aren't used to FreeBasic (like myself) might be able to draw some sense out of it.

I'm only thankful it's not haskell... (functional languages are a completely different way of thinking)

That's really funny!
"My parents died in a terrible accident, and so the OHRRPGCE was responsible for my upbringing."

Let's see how it deals with these obscenities ...
Orangutan
ORLYphage
Orange Power Ranger
Organics
Organs
I became an orphan at age 5. What is your orphan age?

Hm.
Lackluster :-)
