About the loading and displaying of sprites via script: are there any examples of this anywhere? Any kind of documentation on this? Any games that use it? Is it officially supported yet? I see it in the Jamesland dictionary. |

Wandering Hamster uses it; there are some examples in the HSS file. I believe it gets used near the end of the monster belly dungeon. Other than that, it's still a Nightly feature so there hasn't been much usage or documentation yet.
I'm using slices a bit in my current project; they take a fair amount of practice to get the hang of. |

With the viking ship and snake head? Will take a peak at the code, thanks.
Is that the project Mr. Powers is assisting with? I'm looking forward to it. But please, I beg of you, please hear my plea: figure out some way to use these sprite functions to avoid using the done-to-death stock battle system. If you're even having battles, you crazy successful ohr reality producer. |

You might also want to check out Slice test case RPGs neither of them is necessarily a great tutorial, but they do use the heck out of slices.
There is also Space InvadeOHRs which is completely slice-scripted, and not too terribly complicated. |

Charbile!? OHR games?!?
Mind blown.
I'd say slice implementation is currently at missing features/polish/bugfixing. The only missing documentation is perhaps a tutorial or two. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
