I have no idea why, but in battles when I attack an enemy, the damage
number turns out like this:
How do I fix it? |

Did you change your palette? That can affect the color of numbers.
Or, do you have the Absorb Damage bitset on? |

As I was cleaning up the damage display code today, I discovered that damage text color is perhaps the very last hold-out of hard-coded color numbers. I fixed it, so now it uses the "Text" color defined in your user interface colors menu. The fix will be available in tonight's nightly build.
For the record, damage was always using color #15, which is the top-right color in the master palette. In the old master palette, that was white. |
