Yep, that's right. I'm hosting an isometric collaberation right here on castle paradox! (yes, i did get the idea from wayofthepixel's isocolab that they do.) the way it works:
1. If you want to start it, I want you to finish it. No one likes an unfinished product.
2. you may have as many squares as you want. Just dont get greedy.
3. actually try to put some effort in it.
4. put as much original style into your piece as you can. That way we can look back one day and say," hey, so-and-so did this."
5. Post your finish work here! PNG format please.

get to it everybody! _________________

I don't quite see the connection between MsPaint and effort.
Fen made all of VoM's art in MsPaint, ya know! |

What is the colour palette? Post that and I may take a stab at this. I'm not the greatest pixel artist, but I'll do what I can! |

Hmm... i didn't actually establish any sort of palette yet... for now, just work with the new OHR default palette. Also, which tiles would you like to take? _________________

I'll do 32, 33, 34. Where can I find that palette? Sorry, I haven't done an OHR game. I'll poke around the site and see if I can find it in the mean time. |

Which OHR palette? The old one or the new one? Both are available here: 'OHR Palette' |

the new one, i like that one better, more useful colors.
EDIT: actually, nevermind. you dont have to limit yourself to the colors on the palette, the program i use can support alot of colors, but feel free to use it if you wish. _________________

I think for the sake of consitency we should stick to one palette. I was looking through the iso collabs on Way of the Pixel and everything seems very cohesive and I attirube a lot of that to the small palette they use. Their palette has under 40 colors, so I think the new OHR palette has PLENTY of colors to choose from and hopefully it will still maintain some consistency across the image. Thats my two cents anyway.
As a side note, today is the first day I have ever heard of an iso collab! Thanks for the heads up on this and I'm glad to have caught this collab early on! |

I have one question about this. For tiles who are connected but are being done by different people, who is responsible for the edge between them? Or, is it once someone has reserved a tile, then ajoining tiles cannot be reserved until the first one is done? |

Hmm... I think that as long as your not practicly invading anyones tile too much, you can build past borders alittle. For now I wouldn't worry about it. Only 3 peaple doing it counting me so far.
EDIT: also, decorate the white space that lacks tiles as much as you want. we should decide on a color/background soon for it. _________________
